We are committed to providing students with the skills and confidence they need in order to fully experience drama in its three forms: creating, performing and analytical writing. Our facilities allow us to cater for the wants and needs of our students in both performing and technical theatre, with the opportunity to take part in performances for an audience every term.
Staff Members: Mrs K. Coulson (Curriculum Leader Drama), Miss H. Mathews (Teacher of Drama).
Music is taught at key Stage 3 only. Pupils practice the skills of performing, composing, listening, reviewing and evaluating through a wide range of topics. Some link with other subjects e.g. Medieval (history), Haunted House (drama); others look at different cultural influences e.g. Music of India, Hip Hop and Rap. Alongside these are topics that teach specific skills or aspects of music.
Staff: Mrs J Vidal (Teacher of Music)
