Baylis Court School - Inspiring Leaders of Tomorrow

Congratulations to all our students on their fantastic achievements this year in the public examinations. A level outcomes at Baylis Court have been superb and this is testament to our fabulous teaching staff who have provided excellent quality teaching and learning and support whilst ensuring that students have remained focussed, engaged and inspired to work to the best of their ability.

We are delighted to report some outstanding achievements by our A-Level students who are now considering their next steps whether at university, studying at numerous red-brick universities to include Cambridge, Manchester and Leeds amongst others, or to employment and apprenticeships. The school’s mission, ‘Inspiring Leaders of Tomorrow’ underpins all that we do. Seven students who embody academic excellence are:

In England, grading standards for examinations this year have returned to a similar pattern to 2019 (pre-pandemic). This is part of the government’s drive to ensure that education and assessment returns to normal now that the disruption resulting from the pandemic has ceased. However, the national cohort of Year 13 students have suffered disruption to their education and this examination season was one of significant anxiety for many young people.

We are immensely proud of the work and attitude of our students throughout their two years of A-level study. They have shown true resilience and determination to succeed.  Staff at Baylis Court have worked tirelessly to ensure our students can access the next stage of their education.  We look forward to seeing what these ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ achieve in the future.
